Here is a note from Margaret Parsons Bunting. 2/8/07 No, mom doesn't remember either Elizabeth or Spencer Elliott, too young. Elizabeth had
to have died sometime in the 1870s? That is when the will was filed,
look at the last part of the typed will. Mom Grandmom said old man Spencer Elliott died in the poor house.
But after reading the will, she can't understand that if he was left
lifetime rights to the home, and then it when to our Grandpop Elliott?

Here is a copy of Sarah Elliott Evans Burroughs (half-sister to
Grandpop She was married to an Evans first and had two children,
Ida, & I believe a John).

Then she married Joseph Burroughs and had two by him,
a Joseph, Jr. and Selby (in census said Selby was an invalid)
