Start with Elizabeth Elliott. This is the 1860 census. In the ten years between censuses,
she has two more daughters, Sarah and Martha. Margaret Bunting and Fred Lynch
(Our two main genealogy experts) think Henrietta is
wrong. The census taker misunderstood or misspelled Hannah. The four daughters are all by different men
and Elizabeth gave them the Savage name. In the late 1850's she married Spencer Elliott. John Spencer Elliott
was born around 1859. He is Mildred and Charlotte's father and Margaret and Nelson's grandfather.
I think the other two are Rachel and John McGee.
Elizabeth is 38 so that would put her being born about 1822.
