when i went to Nabb yesterday I found a reference to Prudy Lynch marrying Eyedlite Hudson in 1860 in Worcester Co that could have been james and original prudy's daughter Prudence. I later found a reference to an Amanda P. Lynch and she was the correct age for james' child which prompted my question of do we know if Prudence is the first or second name of James and Prudence child prucence who was born in 1844.
Just wondered if the last name Hudson jogged any memories. will have to ask my dad.
google Delaware State Directory and Gazetteer for 1874-1875
there is an index toward the beginning but roxanna is not there (I don't think) but if you scroll down to Roxanna and look at the list of farmers and fruit growers there are whole lot of LYNCHES there and calebs and James H, and etc. made my brain freeze right up.
not sure exactly why but this seem right. It is just a few miles from selbyville, clarkesville, gumboro etc.
see what you think.
